About the role

The person should have high drive to meet targets and should be able to handle large geographical team effectively. Candidate will be working closely with State Operations Manager towards creating a high performing team which can deliver targets for a high growth company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities Spearheading Sales of International Freight Forwarding and Custom Clearance.
• Taking care of sales with focus on achieving predefined sales targeted growth. Negotiating sales deals with customers and following up on a regular basis.
• Meeting Shippers/forwarders/liners for LCL/FCL Queries. Generating LCL/FCL Shipments. Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals. Manage orders, contracts, and original documentation for exports.
• Arrange the logistics to meet shipping deadlines and liaise with shipping agents and port agents on necessary documentation.
• Liaise with customers on payments as well as address shipping or quality issues to maintain a strong business relationship.
• Monitoring import and export of containers for shipments. Negotiate contracts and rate agreements.
• Drive change management to ensure efficient implementations of any new strategic change.
• Ensure excellent customer and partner experience

KPIs:

• Carry out all relevant Operational and Documentation activities for the company.
• Properly coordinate with shipping forwarders and various links to ensure 100% satisfaction.

Requisites / Prerequisites:

• UG / PG Graduates.
• 2-3 years’ experience in shipping / logistics industry, familiar with import /export Documentation. Preferably with exposure in LCL.
• Comprehensive English communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with patience.
• Dedication to continuous learning and growth, proactively pursuing chances to improve skills, refine processes, and maximize efficiency.
• Multi-tasking capabilities and inter departmental coordination
